Description:As schools increasingly integrate technology, they face challenges with behavioral issues that arise from students, such as cyberbullying, inappropriate sharing, and plagiarism. Digital citizenship is an essential 21st century skill in which students are safe, responsible, and respectful participants in a digital world. Join Common Sense Media to learn about free CCSS-aligned curricular resources for both low and high-tech classrooms to teach digital citizenship, and how to implement digital citizenship in your school. We will cover: • K-12 Digital Literacy and Citizenship Curriculum, with parent resources, available online or in e-book format for iPads • Digital Passport, an interactive learning game for students in grades 3-5 that teaches and tests the basics of digital safety, etiquette, and citizenship. Available online (free) and in Google Play and the Apple App Store. • Best practices from schools nationwide on implementing digital citizenship
