Laying the Foundation is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing quality teacher training, rigorous classroom materials, and web-based resources to improve the quality of mathematics, science, and English instruction. LTF believes that training, mentoring, and empowering the teacher corps will lead to high standards of academic excellence for all students.

In addition to our face-to-face training, we offer blended learning professional development through our online Professional Learning Community, which includes open source lessons, public teacher forums, the LTF blog, integrated social media, and video lessons as models for teaching. Another key feature of the Professional Learning Community is mentoring, in which teachers are guided by a group mentor to collaborate over lessons, share best practices, and discuss student assessment performance. Visit our website, send us an email, or call us at 888.949.9702 to learn more.
