Connected Educator Month is kicking off in just a few short weeks, on October 1st. Here are all the up-to-the-minute details you need to know for today!
Stay tuned for more info coming soon about this year’s Connected Educator Month themes, featured events, ways to get connected, and more.
Find an activity, add an activity!
The Connected Educator Month calendar is already filling up with dozens of events for the month of October and beyond. We had over 1,000 events last year, and we’re looking forward to 2015 being bigger and better than ever!
Visit the calendar and use the search box and filters to help you find events & activities of interest to you.
You can also register as an attendee or organization to create a profile, make your customized calendar, interact with other attendees, and more. You can even add your customized calendar to Google Calendar, iCal, and more.
Would you like to earn Graduate PD Credit for participating in Connected Educator Month activities and events?
Personalize your learning with Connected Educator Month AND get graduate PD credit for it!
The University of North Dakota is offering 1 or 2 credits to those who participate this year. Check out the Graduate PD Credit page to see Connected Educator Month event & assignment choices for this course as well as the corresponding due dates. Upon registration, you’ll receive an Assignment Tracker that you can use to record your progress throughout the month and collect artifacts and links. This will be turned in when you’re ready to receive your grade. You’ll also receive link to make payment to UND.
Help us spread the word!
Want to show your support for Connected Educator Month and what it stands for? Want to encourage other educators to come join the discussions, the explorations, and the fun? Or maybe you just to let others know that when people talk about “connected educators,” that means you or your organization.
Become a founding member of Connected Educator Month!
Support us by becoming a CEM member! Some exclusive member benefits for our early adopter members include:
Priority listing on our list of participating organizations, ahead of non-members: a page that will be prominently promoted in every CEM newsletter (it’s already one of the most popular pages on the site)
Your logo on the participating organizations page (non-members will only be listed, without a logo)
A link to your homepage from the participating orgs page (currently not done for any group)
A guarantee that your events & activities during CEM will be promoted in our newsletter, Twitter, blog, and other vehicles (there are getting to be so many offerings in October we can no longer guarantee this to everyone, as we’ve done in the past)
Connected educators are the best group to have in your corner in education (ask us why), and we do not forget who has supported us. Sponsorship is the best way to do this, but every membership really helps!
