The Kwan Um School of Zen was organized in 1983 to give cohesion and administrative support across the globe to Zen centers. Kwan Um signifies"perceive world sound," to compassionately hear the cries of the world. A Kwan Um School of Zen of all Europe was founded in 1984 and the Berlin Zen Center functions as its head . Mu Sang Sa, the School's headquarters temple in Asia, was set as a classic Korean mountain temple at 2000. The Core of the Kwan Um School of Zen is your practice.
